This route starts at Willow Bar and Grill, on the mesa. We head out on Pomeroy towards Nipomo and make our way onto Division. Division Road will drop you off the Mesa onto the flat farmlands of Guadalupe. The drop is a steep road with a ninety-degree turn at the bottom. You’ll stay on Division until Hwy 1. Take Hwy 1 until Willow and you’re on the home stretch.
When riding through the farm area, you may see helicopters spraying the fields. If you ride early enough you’ll see the workers harvesting any of the many crops planted out there. I find the smells reminiscent of smells from my mom’s kitchen.
